I was in Vegas several years ago sitting at one of those great old sportsbooks with the wooden chairs that don't exist anymore and this older gentleman said to me a rule about baseball gambling......" every team wins 54 games, every team loses 54 games, its what they do with the other 54 games that makes the difference and you need to be able to tell the difference to stay in this town."

Well the Arizona D'Backs broke that streak...when was the last time? on either the win or loss side?

Wow Wilhelm, I'm to tired to research it now but what would be your guess on the average ML for the Tigers before and after the Allstar break?

In 2003 the Tigers were getting monster plus money post all star break. Guessing: post all star overall +200 - pre all star maybe +175. On the road they were getting upwards to plus 380 in some spots.
