New head coach Tom Caughlin has the Giants sitting at 3-1 after month one of the NFL season. Big win today for GMEN at Green Bat 14-7.

Although it's still early Wil, I'm sure you remember a thread or 2 with a few of us expecting success from Jags and Giants this year.......:)

Oh, I know you did Wil, one of the reasons I brought it up....:awesom:
There were some that questioned the Giants success with Kurt Warner, but some of us defended......any sign of that?

Hache - you must mean the legendary OF. He might show up to defend his position after the Giants lose a game.

In the meantime the Pats quitely tie the NFL record for consecutive wins in a row at 18 beating the HAPLESS BUFFALO BILLS today 31-17.:aktion033

It's amazing what alot of turnovers going your way and playing beat up teams at the right time can do for your record.:)

I would be really surprised if the Giants do better than 7 wins. I still say they finish 7-9 on the season.

RPM,

Don't laught but I really only see them winnings, or having a shot at winning any more than 3-4 more games the rest of the year.

Wk#7 - at Home vs Detroit
Wk #9 - at Home vs Chicagoi
Wk #10 - Away at Arizona (will be close game)
Wk #11 - at Home vs Atlanta (Atlanta should have things in gear by then)
Wk #16 - Away at Cin

Other than having a shot at the games listed above, I don't see them winning any others this year.

kurt warner can toss the rock any guy who can make the giants offense look smooth must be some kind of player. . .when he led the Rams to superbowl victory with the old school jersys on that team was the sickest thing I have ever witnessed in sports that whole season was a dream to this day I cant believe that team projected to finish last would finish the year with such a bravado with amazing stats and previously unseen flamboyance would just absoultely steam roll everyone including all the past niners teams as THE GREATEST SHOW ON TURF

the rams were 7-0 Warner challenged Marino's single season record they scored at will i went to a TGI'Fridays i glanced up at the screen a Rams defender had picked off a pass and returned it for a TD with his hand up to his ear like deion sanders does they had team celebration with the bob and weave theyd get in a circle and imatate muhamed ali they coasted to the superbowl they met the bucs in the NFC championship game a buc defender picked off a warner pass and got up in the intended recievers face and imitated the rams bob and weave celebration i laughed so freakn hard one of the funniest things i ever saw the rams eventually won a very crazy low scoring game 10-9 i think it was then went on to win the superbowl the titans would be an inch short on thier final play of the contest of winning the superbowl

Green bay being 1-3 is a big surprise to me considering they were a big home favorite in 2 games

No one says the Giants will win the Super Bowl or even make the playoffs. The fact that they are 3-1 is not bad considering all the negative press Caughlin recieved for being so "mean" in training camp. I hope they win 7 games somehow.
