Coming from 14 1/2 games out in August, the Houston Astros beat Colorado to elimate the SF Giants from playoff contention.

QUANTUM, is isnt quite 14.5 games, but still impressive. They were only 7.5 games out of the wild card. They were 20 games out of the division at one time i think

Thanks for clearing that up. I meant 14.5 games out of winning the division, not out of the Wild Card spot.
