Game 1 NY Yankees +105
Taking the Yankees at small home doggie vs. AL Cy Young winner. Yankees undrstand how big this one is, and not convinced Santana will come thru in this situation. Mussina has pitched much better of late, and is a much better pitcher at Yankee Stadium (era under 4.00). He has also owned the Twins (20-3 2.96) in his career. If the Yankees win, Twins will be on life support. In a high pressure game, I'll take the Yanks.

I might look at the Yanks here. They did great vs. Twinkies this season. May also go for the big +150 Ånaheim monkey banana vs. Blosox at home, save the runline.

Dodgers look like a beaten bunch as Mr. October, Jeff Weaver takes the hill vs. the lethal Cards. With Carpenter out, Marquis becomes the St Louis ace in this series. The Cards poured it on in Game 1, and i look for more of the same tonight.

Simply put, the Braves window has offically closed. Bobby Cox has now proven he can win without the most talent, and should be NL Manager of the Year. But, they have run into a buzzsaw. I look for a nice performance by Oswalt this afternoon, and for the Stros to give him enough run support vs. Hampton.

They won't come back and win this series, Boston probably shuts the door in game 4. But, i believe the Angels have too much pride to get swept and will win this one today. Anaheim is the best road team in the AL.

Small Play
NY Yanks -1 1/2 (-105)
Strictly a play on the team with more playoff experience. Twins could come out blazing, or really flat. Minny 1-8 in game 3's in recent history. Yankees are still the Yankees.

Like both plays. Yanks blow them out IMO as they will be my big play today, haven't decided if I want to take the Angels.
