I wanted to share my recent experience with a Book who scored one of my bets wrong. On March 5th of this year I placed 8 bets on over/unders for this years baseball season wins total. For some reason, 5Dimes scored these bets on October 1st which is 2 days before the end of the season. They scored 7 of the bets correctly as 6 of those teams already had more wins and the Dodgers were not even close. The problem I was having is that on Oct. 1st they scored by bet of Tampa Bay Devil Rays over 69 wins as a loss. At that time, they had 68 wins and would win there 69th that night and 70th on the last game of the season Oct. 3rd. I should have won the bet but the money was not credited to my account.

I called Customer service this morning and informed them of my problem. Because the bet was over 6 months old it was not showing up in my betting history, but luckily I had a hard copy printout, which I do for all future bets. I told him of the problem and he was not able to find the ticket. After about a half hour, he found it and said he would submit it and to call back in 30 minutes. I did and it was not fixed. I was then told they were busy with the games at 1 and it would be fixed and updated on my account within the next hour. I called 2 hours later and was told that they could not help and I would have to speak with a manager in another department. This gentlemen named Walter had me go through everything again and about 30 minutes later was told that it must me a computer glitch and they would credit me the money some time today. About 20 minutes later my account is correct.

In writing this note, I want to give you guys a heads up if you have an account with 5Dimes and make sure you were credited with an future baseball totals. I also wanted to commend 5Dimes for doing what was right. I felt like I was passed around a bit and not taken seriously in the beginning, but after staying on top of them, the correct thing was done. They have always been fair and mistakes do happen, but I would recommend to everyone that you keep a hardcopy of all bets. I would also strongly recommend being very polite but also persistent if you feel like you are correct.

I am a small timer and ever bit helps and is needed.

Thanks to 5dimes as things are now correct in my account.
