Of coure it's very early, but Im sure it's very evident to anyone & everyone that follows the NFL that Philly and New England are absolutely the cream of the crop. So, if the two go on to meet for the championship, what do you think the line opens at and who wins the game............?

Basing a line on things as they stand right now, I believe the following....
Line opens at:
New England -3
Philadelphia +3

I then suspect that many Philly bettors will push the closing line to........
New England -1
Philadelphia +1

Many probably think, once again, that this is finally Philly's year, but in the end, Eagles fans once again, face even more disappointment as the Pats repeat as Champions........

I am going with PHI/SEA ( very close race ) and INDY/NE ( even this very close ).

Two 19-0 teams meeting in the Super Bowl would be one for the ages!

Kalu was a loss but the Birds are deep on the D line since Hugh Douglas is looking really good so far and Hollis Thomas is actually healthy. Simon and Kearse are there too...we're deep on the line. Grasmanis staying healthy would be nice as well.

They'll be ok...I wasn't very happy with Sunday's effort but they will get better as the season goes along. The Birds tend to hit their stride in week 7 or 8 and really play well in the 2nd half. We'll see if that continues. Everyone here seems to think 14-2 or 15-1 isn't out of the question (keep in mind where I live).

I would think the Pats would lay the 3 on a SB line...they are more proven in the playoffs than we are obviously.

I still think the Eagles are over rated and the Seahawks win the NFC. I'm not convinced McNabb can get it done in the clutch. They have also had a alot of injuries that could easily catch up with them later

Its awfully early in the season......

my Bucs aren't mathematically "eliminated" yet.....so dont count your chickens before they hatch......:)

And the pats look great again, but i will say one thing, if Manning is on, and comes out firing like he did against Green Bay, not even the NE defense can stop him.....He would have to have a great game, but he is more than capable.......Especially now that Stokely and Wayne are working themselves into the picture, you dont hear Manning to Harrison near as much this year, and thats a GOOD thing.....

Been a while since this thread was created, over 2 months, and some things have obviously changes with the Steelers and Peyton Manning have surprised us as the season has progressed, but I still feel things end up as my original post. How do you guys see it as the season winds down?.........

This is the year for Peyton Manning and the Colts. You will see the largest total # in NFL history if they make it! Remember they should've beat NE the first game of the season! They shot themselves in the foot! COLTS ARE ON FIRE, tough 4 games coming up but they are on fire!

No way? I wouldn't doubt it at all...very close to a TD...NE is by far the best team...

Remember they play in the AFC...huge difference, Hache your team may be the 2nd best team in the NFC, that's how bad the NFC is..

Journey,

NE was a 3 point Favorite in game 1 over INDY at home! What would be the line on a neutral field like the SUPER BOWL if they matchup again ?? And a total too??
