Does this sound a little fishy to you or am I one of those Conspiracy theorists.Last week I hit 5 out of 5 and had a total of 31 points for the Monday night game, Dallas and Washington. Final Score ended at 39 points. I'm not advocating that I should have won or anything but I was tied for 77 th friggin place. 3 people not only picked 5 out of 5 but they also were right on the # at 39 points. Kind of odd that 39 points would be a tiebreaker with 3 people plus at LEAST 77 people had all five correct. I know their is luck and skill to some of this but that many contestants having all five correct seems a little fishy. This week I also hit 5 out of 5 and finished 11th. I had 44 points as my tiebreaker and again there was 3 winners that picked 51. Not quite as suspicious, but still a head scratcher to me. I wouldn't be surprised if there is at least 3 winners a week, maybe 2 phantom winners,. Also I've picked 17 out of 20 games and am only third. I believe I could get 5 out of 5 the rest of the season and not win this thing. Any thoughts
Think about it for a minute. There are a couiple of thousand people playing. Lets assume that the numbers selected are between 14 and 64(64 only for easy dividing) so 50 numbers 2000 people if even then 50 people on a number. I also went 5-0 and had 39 and placed 74th. You will find that most people start falling off and if you can hit around 55% you will be in the top bunch. I have played that contest for about 3 years never won anything but its free and fun and who knows one could get lucky. good luck
