Nathan was left in at least 2 batters too many. Terrible.

At least Grady Little can rest a little easier now. The Yankee fans have a new goat opposing manager to pick on. The Twins now can only hope to get back to Santana in game 5.

There's no way Nathan should have been asked to pitch a 3rd inning. He had a 40+ pitch count!!!

Even more inexcusable was the fact that they had no one even warming up until Nathan throws 9 straight balls???? WTF???

If only A-Rod's ball would have reached the seats the RL would have cashed..WOW!

Not too sure that it would have mattered anyway. The Yanks most likely would have scored against the other pitchers as well

Well I think most would rather take their chances on a fresh pitcher compared to an obvious tiring pitcher regardless of how much a stud the current one out on the mound is.

I'm still ticked about how that game ended....I've had a few ruff breaks, the Rutgers ending killed me.......Ihope they get ripped by 70 after that classless TD Saturday....

OK, and maybe another 20 run washout of the Yankees Friday......

Let me quote my late Dad to any Yankee fan (it was all in good fun, and a way to remember him during his favorite time of the year... "Take your 26 rings and shove them up your a$$!"

No offense to anyone, just something I laugh about...

Usually players and coaches come out to the mound to try to calm the pitcher down and break up the momentum, they didn't even do that.:think::mad::think::mad:

I thought Nathan had that classic Kerry Collins -deer in the headlights look-

I feel Joe Nathan's pain. After the game, he looked like I do when I lose a big bet. That loss should not be on him, though, it's all on the manager.

actually there were a few mistakes, notably in the 8th inning
when the twins had men on 2nd and 3rd with one out and he
let kabul hit, talk about a "deer in the headlights", he was definately overmatched going against rivera, swinging at balls that were helmet high.
when you live in minnesota, you get used to "boneheaded"
coaching decisions. when you look at some of the games tice, mason,
monson, green have blown, you just have to accept it.
