twins battle back and eventually go up, but the dam yankees strike back to win.

how do the twins react?

do they now believe they cannot beat the yankees?

thoughts...?

The Twins need to find someway of slowing down AROD or they have no shot.

last year was different. after winning game 1, the twins were simply over powered and the yanks won the series in 4 after taking the next 3.

this one is a little different. this is what the yanks do. they beat you down in a pshycological fashion and it tottaly takes the wind out of your sails. to be frank, i think after this years DS we have seen the last of the twins in the playoffs for a while. they just pissed away a 2-0 lead as well as the series. yanks bats in the metrodome = chaos for the 'twinsys' like you expensive cracker and cheese eating people like to casually refer to them as.

until someone steps up to the yanks and screws them in a playoff series in a pshycological fashion, they will kept beating down everyone in the AL year after year like a senior does to a freshman even if they are going against a more talented team.

youre damn right its pshyce

The huge tatical error made by the Twins skipper might have sealed their fate. I agree with letting your stud go out there for the 3rd inning of work as getting a win here more then likely clinches the series. The tactical error made was the fact he didn't have someone up in the bullpen before the 12th. He had to have known he had never let Nathan pitch more then 3 innings in a game this season. So you were going into uncharted territory & should have had a backup plan in relief. He didn't & it came back to bite him.

Won't hurt them at all....home field will be a big help. It might have been worse if they pulled Nathan at the beginning of the inning then lost the game, they lost it with their ace.......jmho.

The Yankees bats imo neutralize home field advantage in the hitting friendly dome especially against the Twins pitching outside of Santana.

I love that Starbucks commercial. Is that the real band in the commercial? I forgot who did the song.

EGD, good point, but this Yankee pitching staff is going to get mauled. It's not the Yanks of a few years ago, but they sure are valued like they are.......

I'm still pi$$ing bile because I had a nice stake in Minny tonight.......I respect your thoughts....

Good luck to all tomorrow.......the CFB card looks awful.

The name alone will always over value these guys. I do like the price on Brown though. The CFB card is blah, the only thing I'm looking forward too is the games between Benedict/The Citadel & Tarleton St/Sam Houston St

Thanks for the answer Journey

I layed some decent coin on a bunch of Anaheim bets especially on the 1st 5 innings. I scalped the total though

the Yankees just look terrible and the fans dont even seem like they want it that much or believe its going to happen. 4 innings of hardly a peep, you could hear a pin drop during some of those tops of innings. This team is not deep enough in starting pitching. Santana is unbeatable. Silva has been unreal as well. A Rod and Jeter vs the Twins, close but MN takes it.

A lot of people thought the Pistons were done when they blew game 2 of the finals in a heartbreaker, but they rallied to win the next 3. Never underestimate the power of a resilient team.
