I do not get it....Duece Staley 50/50 to play due to infected TOENAIL

Staley was downgraded from probable to questionable on the team's official injury report yesterday with an infected toenail, the result of having his right foot stepped on against the Bengals. Questionable means there's a 50-50 chance he'll play

ok im sorry but I do not get this....I have seen players play with broken hands/wrists all cast up in club like casts, I have seen players play with bad legs ankles

an INFECTED TOENAIL??? WTF GET out there and take the pain :mad:

have you ever had an infected toenail?? That mother hurts and if it gets stepped on you'll go right down. How can a running back move with that infection?? I know it seems minor but tough to cut with an infected toe IMO.

I know jim I can imagine...BUT they can put something on it to protect it and give the guy a pain shot or something ... ..no way that should keep you out of a big game when your team is in 1st place

Seriously though, Im sure this is very painful. Ever had a very bad ingrown toenail? You can just barely bump it and you cringe in pain. Well, Im sure this if MUCH more painful........

Cowher is a *****. Just ask the Redskin Offense that made him cry tears all the time in practice when he played ball. Puts on a snarl as a coach but as a player he was ***** in practices. Thats coming from a guy who played for the same Redskin team. Yes, don't trust Cowher, he'll lie bout just about nything IMO.

I've got an infected toe right now. It's a *****. It limits your ability to move greatly. It's always the damn big toe. In my case the corner of the nail cracked off.

I haven't gone to doctor. I'm soaking it in epsom salts, and applying neosporin.

Does anyone have any treatment methods for this ? :mad:

Get to an emergency room and let them numb it up nd dig the infection out. 10 days you'll be running sprints. Good Luck.
