Merger Update
Publicly listed Corporate bookmaking companies, International All Sports Limited (IAS) and Canbet Limited, which signed a merger agreement in August, continue to make progress in bringing the entities together, which will bring substantial benefits to both customers and shareholders of the two companies.
IAS was established by Bookmaking legend Mark Read, in 1995, who remains Executive Chairman and brings over 30 years of wagering expertise to the enterprise.
Since the merger announcement a number of achievements have been made;
Firstly, the former management team that was responsible for Canbet’s poor business practice and performance has been removed with a new management structure taking over and generating improved results. Canbet’s loss-making deals, arrangements and partnerships have been terminated. (The previous failed management has been dispersed most of which are now employed by the bookmaking company Mansions).
IAS has introduced cutting edge technology, new systems, new customer conversions, and new staff including specialist personnel from IAS redeployed to the UK operation.
No Canbet debt has been transferred to the merged entity.
IAS has a strong balance sheet with healthy cash reserves giving customers the long-term security they expect from a substantial corporate bookmaker.
You can now look forward to IAS launching new and complementary businesses and an expanded product range that includes horse racing.
