Well the winning continues. I am going to post my plays in the order the games are played.

4* Houston
Houston has won their last 18 h gms. They are 7-2 when Backe has pitched this yr, including 4-0 at h. In his 4 home games he went 5 innings twice and 7 innings twice and gave up only 2,1,1,0 runs including against St L & the Cubs. Meanwhile John Thomson for Atlanta (didn't he coach hoops at Georgetown?) was 11-7 on the road and the team a respectable 20-13 overall.

The playoffs bring some unique happenings and while these pitchers could buckle to the pressure and give up some runs, but both have been solid and the under is my lean.

MN/NYY - I think the Yankees end it today, but how can I go against Santana who hasn't given up more then 3 runs since June 3rd and only has given up 3 runs twice dating back to Aug 7th. I don't like the fact that a lot of good pitchers have gone to the hill in the playoffs on 3 days rest, and he is going out in midafternoon, and there record is 16-29. I can't play the under because of Valdez and I can't play the over because of Santana. PASS

5* Underdog Division Series GOY - Dodgers
How can I pick the Dodgers against the mighty Cards? Well, LA is 13-1 with Lima on the hill at h. Meanwhile, St L is just 8-8 with Morris on the rd. The home team has won every game but one this yr. Morris has only had 3 quality starts in his past 14 road games. On the other hand Lima has been solid with eight straight quality starts at h, only giving up 3 runs twice. Dodgers stay alive with a win against the mighty Cards.

3* Dodgers over 9
These two teams have gone over the total 12 of last 15 and the over is 20-9 for LA last 29 so why change now?

Overall record:
7* 1-0
5* 5-2
4* 5-1
3.5* 1-0
3* 0-3

At least I think this is what it is, I'll confirm it in the morning.

as scary as it is to bet on a team that hasn't won a playoff game since winning the WS in 1988 - i agree on the dodgers and will be standing right next to you at the window!

I've been a Dodgers fan since the '65 World Series against the Twins and I didn't have the guts to pull the trigger for the Dodgers in this game. I'm glad it cashed for you.

Did you see the "Behind the Glory" story on ESPN tonight? Kirk Gibson's World Series home run. I still remember where I was when I saw that and I still remember listening to the radio when Orel beat Don Drysdale's record of consecutive scoreless innings.

Good luck.

You must be on drugs or something. Actually I think the drugs are helping your handicapping. I have a couple of NFL plays for you that you aren't going to like. Off a bye week favorites who played on the road before bye going into season 18-41, raod teams the week before the bye 19-8 going into season 7-1 this year. Play Giant on the moneyline too!!! Play against our queens, they stink on the road play the moneyline.

Up 34.35 units with another 4* & 5* winner yesterday

Quant, I remember where I was when Gibby hit that homer, in bed celebrating my wedding anniversary in a great old hotel. You might say both Gibson and I hit a homer that night.

No time for lengthy write ups, but these two are going to cash.

4* Cards - they are 12-2 with him on the mound, they hit lefty's better and they are pissed about the antics of Lima last night. You don't showboat like he did and the Cards will end it today.

3.5* Hous/At under 9.5 - I can't lay the wood with Clements even though they've won the last 19 @h and his last ten starts overall. Ortiz has been good on the road and he will keep this game close enough that Atl might be able to pull a late inning win out.

NthStar - I briefly read the system play and didn't get it, but I like the Giants today and I have to side with Hansen on the Vikes today.

Now that Rodney has pasted away I will take his place and get no respect. Don't play the queens, use your head not your heart. Teams are not good favorites off a bye if they played their game on the road before the bye. Also, running game is suspect. If you want to play the queens play them in the first half. Last year teams off a bye went 19-10 in the first half. Good luck on the bases today. Look at the first five in stl game also!!! Did that with santana yesterday. Thanks for the dodgers. Money management!!!!!!

Star,

Minny's last game was @ home so it doesn't fit into this system. Giants does.

Am I right. Get your cell phone on and I'll call you in a while before the first kicks go.

Dallas was on the road, Minny was at home. Going to play seattle in first half. Early card besides giants and over and Houston, made small play on NO, Indy(ML),. Looking at Detroit, Cleveland. I will get my cellphone.
