Actually many books will not give out scores, mainly because they need to keep down the number of non-wagering phone calls. Just a finacial thing. The old expression from clerks "were not a score service pal" still rings in my ear.
very true certainly could not hurt at all - all they can say is "were not a score service pal". Of course these days that might call for a thread here complaining about rude clerks or some such.
