Agree with ya Wil. Red Sox need to treat A-Rod like everyone treats Barry Bonds. Put him on base if you have to but just don't allow him an opportunity to drive in runs even if it means loading the bases! Red Sox need to make someone else beat them because A-Rod has been killing them this season.

A-Rod has definitely come on strong in the last month and playoffs but Jeter is still the guy to be feared in the clutch. Add Matsui, Mussina and Rivera as clutch.
Having said all that, this is the year for the Sox. I don't think this team is under the same pressure cause they are a lot looser - to paraphrase Damon - just a bunch of idiots with bad haircuts.
As an example, Manny will definitely make one bonehead play, but will make two great plays to overcome it.

I'm not joking. Pedro's ERA was .13 better than Arroyo during the season & for whatever reason the Yankees have Pedro's number.
