Am I the only one that thinks it's obnoxious and invasive for the sender of an email to send an attachment to verify whether or not you have read the email?

Whever I get one of those, I check the response that indicates I didn't read it...

What about others?

Am I making too big a deal about this or not?

I just hate that crap!

It's an invasion of my privacy and none of their business...

Thanks

I suspect that it would completely depend on the context of the message.
Certainly, there are situations where the usage of this feature is called for, and others where it is not.

No biggie SHRINK. Have a xanax with a jack and coke. It'll ease the pain.
