Royal Sports has been around since 1991 and is one of the true pioneers in offshore sports betting.

 • As of today, after careful consideration and monitoring by our audience and moderators Royal Sports has not had any slow pay complaints since June and never a no pay.
We really took all of the information under careful consideration before taking ROYAL back, and we now believe they are worthy of being here....

I think the fact that Richard from Royal comes in here to address questions is a good thing as well, always nice to see a book have some forum representation.

Alright Petey... lets get that Nascar Forum back up and working!

I don't come into these welcome threads often, because I usually have nothing to add...

Remember though, Royal saved alot of people back at the end of 2002 by taking on Gamblers Avenue and a few other stiff books customers, and also keeping the contests going for us, contests that were already in progress...that was very admirable.... :) .I recall several poster's cashing out big balances after they met the rollover, that Royal took on....

We'll just keep it in here for now HTRC. Only about 5 races left. Not sure if I even know how to create a room yet with the new forum. LOL I will be adding the Royal name back to the topics though. Royal never hesitated honoring that contest even after TheRx pulled the ads. I appreciated that. Thank Royal.

Royal,

Best of luck to you and I hope that TheRx & you can have a long relationship from here on.

Identity,

Say what you want, and in the loing run you may turn out to be correct.
I've been playing there, gotten great CS from Richard, and timely payouts.
Just got one today for 1.5 dimes.
I never had a problem, maybe I'm gambling that I won't in the future, but they have no had any bumps in the road in quite a while.

Best of luck with all your plays.

I have played with Royal recently and been paid with no problem. A few kinks with their new website, but overall I'm pleased.

May I write something that confuses me. I think,
it is fairly well known that in the industry of
sports betting we have at minimum 25 to 30 great
books. Now I am just throwing that number out,
maybe we have more but I don't think less.
Why may I ask would anyone want to take a chance
on a book that isn't considered rock solid. Royal
has had problems, yes? Then why would anyone
consider them? It is difficult enough winning, why
make it even more difficult by worrying whether or
not you will get paid. Of course I understand the
concept of advertising with Prescription and how many
good people might seem to get comprimised by a
business decision. Aren't we old enough and sharp
enough to check out things ourselves? SBR, still
has nothing nice to say about Royal. I, for one will
always take the word of my fellow players with the
exception of the occasional shill or malcontent. With
very few exceptions the top books get great marks
from fellow players.

Frankly,

This site cannot exist without advertising dollars. This Sportsbook cannot exist without advertising here. Seems simple enough.

I must say, though, that anyone who sends bucks to this outfit should check their insurance plan to see if it covers mental instability.

I got a call over the weekend from Gambler's Avenue, wanting to make sure that if I was gambling offshore that I was doing so with them, 30% bonus, of course. I truly do not understand why, given the choice of Pinnacle or Cris or Olympic or 15 or 20 others, how does this Royal outfit even get into the conversation?

stacilu... how come all of your posts are narrow? do you copy & paste?

IDENTITY....

if the RX.com was your business would you honestly turn down 3-5K in advertising fees? (monthly) if a Book wanted to advertise would you turn down 3-5K? I think not....

The RX is a business... PERIOD... In business money talks

noticing.

You Are Right Sportsavant. The Problem I Have Is That The Rx Is A "watchdog" Site. Is It Not? To Some Extent It Must Provide Safe Books. When I First Came To This Site 7 Years Ago, It Was Purely A "watchdog." Sure It Had Advertisers But In Those Days, There Were Not Books Going Under As Much As Today.

I Think Despite This Being A Business, Shrink Must Only Promote Safe Books. If You Asked Me To Name 3 That Are Not Safe, Royal Would Certainly Be One Of Them.

It Is Amazing That Royal Pays For A Few Months, And Suddenly Theyre Worth Posting Up With. Just Amazing!!!

Identity.... I hear ya, however if SHRINK only had 3 Advertisers the site woudnt be making the money it is today.... would they?

right now there are 21 Books at the top of the page... some that nobody has ever heard of & have very suspicious business models (MANSION).... it is quite clear that the Advertisors are not required to go through any balances & checks....

Of course RX is still a watchdog site in the sense that the MODS are EXTREMLY helpful in resolving problem accounts & situations with BOOKS, however they are ABSOLUTELY NOT a watchdog site in the sense of books that are promoted.... Take Dimeplayer for instance... one day we were being warned to be careful.... the Next Day they have the BEST customer service on the net....
