Last time I went was 4 years ago. I'm heading there this weekend and staying at the Mirage. What I want to know is where basically on the strip is the best place to eat, to do, and must see. Besides gambling I want to occupy myself during the day so any suggestion is much appreciated.

I swear to God, after living in Vegas for a long long time and returning, the first thing I wanted to do was grab an IN-N-OUT BURGER.

General, in terms of gambling I totally agree. Sports betting is definitely the way to go.

jjgold, interesting thought. It is legal right?

Fatburger

They don't have Fatburgers in Canada where I'm from so I've been trying all these places we don't have up there. Been to Fatburger twice and definitely a thumbs up from me.

mud wrestling

Ladies Mud Wrestling at the Frontier on Wednesday Nights is cool, they ask women from the crowd to participate and there is $500 to the winner, some women already plan to wrestle, they come prepared in a bikini

probably nobody gives a damn about science fiction, but the "star trek experience" at the Hilton is fun

For lunch, if you like Italian, I must reccommend Chicago Joe's. Very convenient to downtown and the strip. Authentic Italian fare for 25+ years that I know about. Gets better every time I visit.

I love this place!~!!

I just got back last week from Vegas. I actually ate a terrific meal at a restaurant in the Mirage calle "SAMBA." It was all you could eat (not buffet though, they bring it to your table) grilled meat. I mean everything. Beef, Chicken, Pork, Fish plus salad, and some other side dishes. It was delicious but of course was $35 plus tip. The RIO has a free show in the casino that it pretty good for free. If your looking for hot strippers try the Spearmint Rhino. :manwh: Luxor has cheap poker tourney's ($25-30 entry). Stratosphere at night is great just for the view. There are so many things you can do there especially the more cash you have. Have fun and watch out for the escort pamphlet hawkers (their really harmless but just annoying  )

Thanks one and all!

I definitely try one of those burger joints. Ladie's mud wrestling sounds very interesting. That's what I'm looking for something different.

Anybody knows which casino has the best restaurant on the strip for dinner?
