I'm not sure how baseball lines work. The Red Sox are -145 at Stardust. Now I understand that they are favored, but how does that number work, and what does it mean? haha I seriously have no idea. Thanks in advance.

If you bet the Red Sox you would put down $145 to win $100 and if the Yankees are +135 you would get $135 if you put $100 on the Yankees.

That means you have to lay 145 dollars to win 100

A 50 bet would be 72.50 to win 50

Nyy number is +140.............Lay 100 to win 140
