forget about fading the public. There is no way the Cards should be a 2-1 favorite over the Stro's in game one.......com'on, ridiculous!!

Remember, emotion can play a lot, and who wants it more. I feel the stro's are out for blood. They are on top of the world right now, and very, very hot at the moment. ride the wave until it hits the shore baby!!

You're right bigbet. This line is ridiculous. Plainly ridiculous. I have Williams rated only very slightly higher than Backe right now. And Houston's offense is as hot as anyone's. STL should be in the -150 to -170 range tops. I played +220 and that is mad crazy nutty value. Plain and simple. STL has a better chance to win this game, but not THAT much better. Play the value, now and always.

Don't listen to Illini, I suspect he'd ridicule betting on Houston even if the line were +500.

I agree the line is way too high...

I still think the Cards will win but you look at the numbers, they are not bad at all...Backe has pitched decent vs St louis..in some ways though , this is a much more important game for the Cards (with the aces going in game 3 & 4 for Houston)

Value like I mentioned above does not mean victory. When something looks to be good to be true it usually is just like these big lines to suck people in to think they are getting value. Only problem is that no one factored in Garner and the bullpen. Take these two out of the equation and its probably not 2-0 Cards but a suggestion is to bet the Cards in all 3 in Houston and you will win 2 of 3 and regain your money. GL
