Listen, lets not jump on this wagon so quickly. The NYY are a solid team. No argument there. Analyse last night a little better though. Boston came out tight, as expected, moose pitched a gem. Schilling was hurt! he didnt pitch one ball over 91 mph. That ankle is very bad, and that is a big reason why he got rocked. Even after being down 8-0, boston came back to 8-7 and if millar would have hit a single the game would have been tied. of course everyone saw that.

Pedro is pitching for money for next year. He has always played mind games with everyone. Which exactly is what he did telling the yanks that they are his daddy. He pitched well his last game, and is stellar in the playoffs. People argue he isnt as good as before, i somewhat agree, but he is still pedro. And he is facing lieber on the other side. If boston doesnt hit leiber, i will stand on my head. yanks might touch pedro some, but the odds are much better for boston (who got the jitters in game 1 out of their system) to light up leiber and whoever else until rivera, vs nyy lighting up pedro.

dont lose faith on a boston team who is playing very well in general, and has some things to settle. Not saying boston will win this series for sure, especially with curt hurt, but this game is bostons. take this for what its worth, my solid opionon and i bet and watch a lot of baseball.

my pick, BOS -160, 5 units (could even come down some)
small play on the over 10 2 units.

feel free to parlay, as i will

Good analysis, and I mostly agree, however the value is on the Yanks, and knowing they can hit Pedro makes them look that much sweeter.

GL to you, unfortunately I am on the other side, but not as big as last night.

well, i can definitely see the attraction. like you said, a home dog like the yanks is never a "bad" play. but in my case even with saying that, i think i have a winner. good luck to you as well.

I can assure you of one thing, someone will win!!!

And if I do as planned and lay half on the ML and half with the Yanks +1.5, if the Sox win by 1, you are happy and I am "satisfied" with a break even.

Should be another great game.
