I’ve got a 3* Total on the Premium Side tonight and will deal with the side here. Pete Munro was picked up by the Astros to spot relieve in the bullpen following his release earlier this season by <ST1:STATE><ST1LACE>Minnesota</ST1LACE></ST1:STATE>. After Pettitte and Miller went down though, the right-hander was forced into the rotation.<O></O>
Munro hasn’t pitched since October 1st this season and has never sniffed the post-season. He was 4-7 for the season with a 5.15 ERA including a 1-4 record on the road and 5.29 ERA. He’s also 1-4 L/T vs. the Cardinals while posting a 6.56 ERA.<O></O>
Matt Morris has struggled all season but this guy has got some serious horses in the lineup to ease his pain. The righty was 9-4 at Busch with a 3.69 ERA. <O></O>
The Cards exploded for 6 runs in the 6th inning last night and Larry Walker has proven to be a major acquisition for <ST1:CITY><ST1LACE>St. Louis</ST1LACE></ST1:CITY>. The RF was 3 for 5 last night raising his average to an even .400 in the post-season. Jim Edmonds shook off a mediocre LDS and drove in 3 last night while Albert Pujols continued to dominate. <O></O>
Pujols is now stroking the ball to the tune of a .389 average with 3 HR and 7 RBI.
