Garner, U suck

I have to vent.....Even though I am a HUGE Cardinals fan and I a stoked that they took the lead, I have to point out that Garner is a moron. This is the second night in a row that he has lifted his starter and went o the bullpen right before Rolen steps in. Last night Rolen got a huge hit and tonight Rolen hits a bomb. Against both starters rolen has looked terrible.

BTW I had under 5.5 first five full innings at +110.

That's nothing compared to benching one of the best closers in the league 2 games in a row. How does he not pitch the 8th and 9th? He should be fired on the spot.

royal, it wasn't hindsight for me. I was screaming going into the inning to bring in Lidge. I was utterly in shock when he didn't come out to pitch. I'm wondering if he might be injured and they're not saying. That's the best I cna come up with.

I mean, come on, you can definitely get 2 full innings out of Lidge since he hadn't worked in 3 days and an off day tomorrow. You can't just hope to pitchi him in extras going into the bottom 8th with Pujols, Rolen and company coming up. Pujols and Rolen were 1-11 off Lidge. The game was on the line right there, you bring your best in. Period. If you're gonna lose, lose with your best. As it is, he had a bullet that he never fired. There is no way it was not a grievous error. And it's not hindsight. Even if it had worked I would have said it was 100% wrong, because it was. Not even a close call. Garner blew it. That is, unless as I said, maybe he knows soemthing I don't and Lidge is not healthy.
