Information about ongoing slow pays concerning the credit portion of PlayASAP business has been circulating in these past two weeks. In the last hours additional reports of slow pay have been reported. Albeit these problems are related to the credit portion of the business only it is wise for players to tread with great caution at this time.

Roberto is 100% accurate and apparently, this has been known by some "insiders" for a couple of weeks. I also have just learned people that are indeed owed money by ASAP, but they were afraid that by going to the forums, it would lessen the likelihood of their chances of getting paid in a timelier manner....

On a positive note, I also know some of the people behind this sports book and they have always been honorable. I believe they got into this mess because of GREED, but I suspect they will do whatever they have to in order to get everyone paid...

Be cautious posters and I would strongly avoid playing there at this time. If things change, I will let everyone know as I am sure Roberto will as well...

Once again, thanks Roberto for the warning...

Like I stated, I feel confident that gamblers will get paid because the people behind ASAP are HONORABLE....

But until things get better, I would wait and see rather than expose myself there...

One agent has warned some of his bigger gamblers that he will only be responsible for 10k into ASAP. This is an important verification that there is some trouble because usually, there have been no restraints with the amount won...

I will call up ASAP and report back there side to the story...

I have heard the same rumors about asap credit, but I can't find anyone who claims to be slow-paid, just a few smaller players who have been paid. Slow pays if any are probably larger players. Still a rumor, until someone comes forward.

IMHO - with credit business, it's all about the relationship with your agent, and if you don't manage this relationship, you get what you deserve. Credit business is messy. Stick to postup.

The situation is far from being under control. Current silence is primarily due to the hope of getting post up players paid, which is not being the case in some cases I am personally assisting.

I just have heard that someone out of New York with Money may be helping these guys out...

I certainly hope this is the case, and I wish them well...

from what I have been told every post-up player has been paid and as of last Monday all agents had settled. Has someone heard something different?

Shrink;

All the post-up players that requested a payout from ASAP after Roberto's pre-warning have been paid in full. All pending balances were settled this last Monday, October 20, 2004.

The bottomline is that many players requested a payout on Friday after Roberto's warning and they got paid on Monday.

The poster Raiders72001 contacted ASAP and he was told all the balances would be paid on Tuesday; so in the end, all post-up players got their balances 1 day before the promised deadline. I still think ASAP cannot be compared with the likes of Pinnacle, CRIS, Hollywood or Olympic when it comes to promptness of payouts, but let's not fool ourselves... ASAP is no Pinnacle.

But every player betting offshore must remember that the vast majority of the sportsbooks in the offshore wagering industry might be undercapitalized. If ASAP is indeed undercapitalized they will be taken out of business. This whole situation is to be reviwed further.

Walk,

I am VERY FAMILIAR with the ownership, as I have done some business with them in the past before they set up a sports book in CR...

However, when an AGENT I respect a lot tells me that he won't cover anything more than 10k in WINNINGS with regards to ASAP, that is surely a RED FLAG and a sign that they are undercapitalized...

I also know for a FACT that someone is on their way to CR (maybe already there) to discuss buying them out or investing in them...

I found nothing wrong with ROBERTO'S warning and only a FOOL would continue playing there until it is CLEAR where they stand...
