My Playoff record is 3-0, + 3.53, YTD is 27-20, + 9.41, + 6.54

Cards + 148 in game 3.

Houston's Cinderella finish is over. They will probably win game 4, but I don't see it here in game 3. Cards know if they beat one of Houston's big two then they should be home free. This is their game. Houston and Phil Garner babling about how good they do at home and they have Clemens and Oswalt going. That talk backfires more than it doesn't. Reminds me of when the Rangers swept Oakland and then the Angels came to town to win the first three of a four game series in the last week of the season.
Suppan 10-1 with a 3.55 era on the road. He was 1-4 vs Houston this year, but 1-0 with 7.2 innings pitched and one earned run at Minute Maid.
Cards are ready and pumped in this game. Astros middle relief is horrible and Cards will make Clemens work.

I really like this side also. First of all who was the best road team in baseball this year. Last time I checked it was Cardinals. Second, this will be about the 6th time Clemens and Suppan have opposed each other this year. Suppan is not overwhelmed here due to the prior meetings. Last, I think Suppan may be the least known of Cards starting pitchers but they Cards brass may think he pitching the best. Suppan imo is their #1 with Carpenter sidelined. Its just that people remember what he has done in the past. I like the Cards to go up 3-0 also. Lose Game 4 and win it in 5. BOL

Kojak,

Glad to see we share the same views here. Yes, your Cards are the best road team. Cards 52-29 Rd, Astros 48-33 Hm. That's regular season, each is 1-1 respectively, home/road matchup, in the playoffs.
