I would be very interested in participating as I enjoy the forums and would like to have the opportunity to have a voice (however minor) in decisions regarding the future of the site. I feel I am knoweledgeable regarding sports as well as sports gambling and perhaps can offer somewhat of a local perspective as issues arise.

Having been around here for some time I have seen lots and lots of changes, most for the good, some not. I guess the biggest concern I would have is the possibility that one would be expected to walk the company line at all times. I doubt this would be the case, based on what I have seen.

In summary, I am interested if the powers that be are interested.

I think that you guys should have as much representation from as many demographics as possible. This way you can get an accurate picture of what different posters are looking for. Since now that there seems to be some swapping of high-profile posters between sites, every edge you guys can get is an advantage.

Just in case this thread has been misundestood, the General clearly has posed this question not to be funny, but genuinely would like to know who would be interested in participating in the Board Room and asking for reasons why you would like to assist. The only person that seems to have understood this so far is VV.

With that in mind, how about providing the General with some constructive reasons if you are interested. If not, don't bother responding.
