The wife is going to Vegas this Tuesday and is staying at Bally's. She's never been there and is wondering where the best cheap places to eat. Also any show recommendations would also be appreciated.

The BARBARY COAST, directly across the street from Ballys, has some terrific specials be it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner in their coffee shop.

Also, directly behind Ballys, the ELLIS ISLAND coffee shop has a great $5 steak special as well as other fine food.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND she try the crepes at PARIS that are served fast food style directly in front of the buffet.............very reasonably priced and very filling..........a meal in itself. They have a wide variety, be it meat, fruit, or for desert.........and they are awesome for under $6. The PARIS is right next door to Ballys.

They don't have the bargains they used to. Buffets still the way to go. Best bet is to eat light breakfast and eat late lunch and wait then til dinner buffet stuff comes out. Combine lunch and dinner and save $. Worth the price. Bellagios lunch was awewome but pricey. Never did try Paris though highly recomended by Fish.

Not cheap but I thought the Paris buffet was the best I have ever had in anywhere. The breakfast was tops. Also a good breakfast spot is the Peppermill across from the Stardust. It is not cheap but quality is exceptional. For overall CHEAP eats Westward Ho has some great deals.

What I have found through the years is that the bargain deals are becoming fewer and farther between. But overall quality of the food at the mid to upper level price ranges has improved dramatically.
