What is considered a large account balance with an off shore book?

What is considered a large wager with an off shore book?

What could happen to a book that refused to pay on a large balance? What recourse would a gambler have?

Thanks,

Sadly, If A Book Doesnt Wanna Pay You, You Are Screwed. You Could Try To Expose Them On A Site Like This, But If They Are Intent On Stiffing You, You Got No Chance. That Is Why You Should Keep Your Money In Good Books And Make Sure They Are Good By Checking With People Here.

For post up I would call 50K fairly large at a single book.

Talking post-up only - 5K is a good sized bet (on a side for example) and 10K falls in the large category.

Not a lot of recourse if for some reason an offhsore book decides not to pay. I mean there is not any law enforcement authority you could call. Forums like this one can be of some help in many cases.

Do you guys think $100K spread out pretty evenly between Wagermall, BoDog & Guardian Guaranty is fairly safe? That's fairly close to what I've got with these three books right now. I'm a little nervous since they're in other countries and our society generally frowns on the industry. This ain't Ameritrade.

I play two dimes at a time. Sometimes, one of the books will only take a dime. One of them suspended me last week because they wanted more action on sides and totals and I had too much action on money lines in CFB. While it does cause me some hardship, I'm glad to know they're concerned about being beat.

The third one never flinches when I phone in two dimes.

You guys think I'm safe with these three?

Thanks,

I Would Definitely Get Your Money Out Now. Take 50k Out And Put The 50k In Pinnacle Or Wsex.

Identity,

Why do you say that? Which one scares you, or do they all scare you?

I know BoDog is an advertiser here and is a member of the OSGA. Wagermall is in incahoots with Millennium, who is incahoots with betonsports. Betonsports is a publicly traded company, which gives me a lot of comfort.

As for Guardian, I've been with them for three years, only never with an amount this large. Only this season did I go nuts, and so far, I've won big. As for Guardian, is the Guardian Industry that is referenced in this article the same as Guardian Guaranty?

No way do you want that kind of cash in an offshore book(s).

70k should be in a Neteller type instrument.

Your wagering only 2 dimes a game and you have 100k in 3 books?

Do not feel this is a good strategy whatsoever.

How many games do you have bet at one particular time?

You would have to have at least 20 games going at once to justify this in my opinion.

If not, you need to get with 3-4 more books and spread your money around.

osu2winbig12: HERE IS SOME GOOD ADVICE AND YOU CAN PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY OR IGNORE THIS. YOUR CHOICE. FOR STARTERS, I TOO KEEP A GOOD CHUNK OF DOUGH OFFSHORE. AS OF THIS MORNING I HAVE A SHADE LESS THAN 95 DIMES SPREAD OUT AMONG CRIS, GRANDE, PCI, WWTS AND PINNACLE. SOME OF IT IN POSTUP ACCOUNTS UNDER 2 OR 3 DIFFERENT NAMES ((MY SON-IN-LAW AND A NEPHEW)) BUT MOST OF IT MONEY OWED TO ME BY AGENTS. YOUVE REALLY GOT TO CONSIDER THE REPUTATION OF THE BOOKMAKER. I KNOW THE TOP GUYS BEHIND ALL 5 OF THESE STORES AND I KNOW WHAT THEY ARE LIKE AND I KNOW AT LEAST ONE CAN AND WOULD HAPPILY PROVIDE A REFERENCE FOR ANOTHER. I ROUTINELY SEND CASH AMONG MY ACCOUNTS AT ALL 5 SHOPS. IN THE CASE OF BODOG, I WOULD NEVER PLAY THERE. THE PRIORITIES OF BODOG HISTORICALLY APPEAR TO OFFERING LARGER THAN STANDARD BONUSES AND PAYING MONEY TO SOMEONE CALLED "STING" TO TOUT THEIR OPERATION. THEY ALSO RECENTLY HIRED A PORN STAR FOR MARKETING!! THATS JUST ONE EXAMPLE. YOU MENTION OSGA IN YOUR POST. REMEMBER MY MAN THAT THINGS LIKE "OSGA" AND "SBR" ARE A TOTAL CROCK; THEY ARE JOKE SITES STARTED BY GREEDY BOOKIES WHO FOR SOME CRAZY REASON HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CONVINCE A HUGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE THAT THEY ARE WATCHDOG SITES WHO ONLY CARE ABOUT PLAYERS WHEN IN FACT THAT ARE ONLY ANNEXES OF THEIR OWN MARKETING DEPARTMENTS. A GUY LIKE SHRINK CAN BE VERY HELPFUL BUT NOTHING HE SAYS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED FOOL-PROOF. HE CARES DEEP DOWN ABOUT THE READERS OF HIS SITE. BUT HE ALSO HAS TO PAY SOME BILLS TO KEEP THE PLACE RUNNING AND ALSO HAS TO MAKE THIS VENTURE WORTH HIS WHILE. SO YOU WILL HAVE SOME PAN-AMS AND YAHOOPS AND OTHER DISASTERS HERE. AS FOR BOOKS THAT ARE PUBLICLY TRADED, WOW, YOU BETTER RE-CONSIDER THEM! THERE HAS BEEN A CRACKDOWN ON CORPORATE SCANDAL IN THE WORLD BUT THIEVES ARE EVERYWHERE. HERE IN THE USA ONLY THERE WAS TYCO AND ENRON AND ADELPHIA AND LOTS OF OTHERS IN THE LATE 90'S. THE 5 BOOKS I MENTIONED ARE THE SAFEST AROUND. I WORK HARD AND AM FORTUNATE TO HAVE SOME DISPOSABLE INCOME. BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN I WANT TO HAVE IT STOLEN. CRIS, GRANDE, PCI, WWTS AND PINNACLE ARE THE ONLY PLACES I SUGGEST TO OTHERS TO PLAY. EACH IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT THAN THE OTHER AND AMONG THE 5 YOU SHOULD HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH BETTING CHOICES FOR WHATEVER KIND OF PLAYER YOU ARE. BEST OF LUCK AGAIN. YOU CAN WRITE TO ME IF YOU WANT//NEED MORE INFO. THOMASZMULLINS@YAHOO.COM.
