For those who fund Neteller with Debit Card

I've always funded my neteller account with my debit card and just noticed this morning that it now shows up as "Neteller.com" instead of JSL OCC. (this is on my online statement/account history)

How long do you think it will be before we can't even use debit cards to fund neteller. I was surprised to learn that not all banks let their clients fund gaming accounts with DEBIT cards. I understand credit. NOBODY should be gambling on credit...but to say you can't use a debit card seems utterly ridiculous to me.

I imagine within 6 months I won't be able to use my debit card to fund Neteller either :finger:

Not sure what makes you think just a change in the way something is listed on your statement would lead you to believe that debit cards won't be available to use anymore...

I don't necessarily...I was just bringing that up to discuss neteller. From what I've heard... Banks are starting to learn more about neteller and what it's used for. That combined with the fact that it now plainly states "neteller.com" as the purchase... Just makes me wonder.

Reason I ask is that my BOA debit card is called a check card (has Visa logo on it). Not 100% sure , but I don't believe it would work the last time I tried it.

I bank with WF....Their check card has always worked for me. I imagine sooner or later it won't though

You can also go to a Bank of America and deposit money directly into Neteller's account....you can get that info under the Deposit page on their website. It is usually in your account about 15-30 minutes after the deposit.

I can give anyone their account number that wants it.

I would just suggest that everyone open a wells fargo account online and get a check card. A lot easier IMO.

OK, JimmyK.....

Go to BOA and get an out of state deposit slip (unless your in California). In the address section fill in the following:

F-Cash Inc.
San Francisco, CA
888-258-5859

Check the California checking account box.

Routing/Transfer # 540930135 and the account # is 0408618722 just write this down in the boxes below (there are more boxes than numbers so don't worry)

The first time I did this I got help from the teller, but it is really simple.

After you get the deposit slip, tape it to a piece of paper with a business card from the Bank; write your name and Neteller account # alomg with the ammount of deposit (BTW $3000/day limit) then fax it to 888-678-2128. The bank will fax it for free.

I usually give them a call about 10 minutes after the fax, and its in my account in 15-30 minutes.

Neteller is not 100% only used for gambling-- so i don't see how banks would stop that......

Here in NY our stupid AG forced a bunch of banks into an agreement re no CC for gambling: the result has been that they can't be used even at "legal, duly-licensed & approved, US-located" entities such as OTB's, Youbet, America Tab, etc.
But, ATM's can be located at any location, so that the only thing the moron AG has accomplished is to raise the fees for all of us law-abiding, non-addicted citizens just to get our own money out of the bank-- all because of a drug dealer or problem-gambler or two: either of which can still fund the account in other ways.

Charles, can you purchase lottery tickets with your debit card in NY? Or does your CC laws prohibit that, too? Here in GA they have to be bought with cash only.

Iowa is cash only as well. I thought every state with "powerball" was like that too.

Fleet-Bank Of America

As Fleet is a branch of Bank of America, can one make a deposit at Fleet into a BOA account? Unfortunately there aren't any BOAs in the area.

Glaken I never got a routing number when I called to get this info you posted above a few weeks ago just the acct number a fcash stuff

Going to suck when it becomes harder to use Neteller if not impossible. Maybe the next bill will be tougher and seeing they went asia/europe, they are obviously grabbing other markets in case. Could be hypothetical, but I wonder.
