If pressed to make a play, would take BOSOX here.

However, no play.

No surprise here, Schilling lied to the team about the seriousness of his injury last week, and we are supposed to believe he is cured?

like in Shawshank Redemption..."LORD! It's a Miracle!" The guy has torn ligaments in his pushoff ankle...he is only fooling himself and probably risking injury to his arm by going out there, i predict he doesn't get past 4 or 5 innings.

Give me a break, the only way Boston wins this is if the Yankees give it away.

How is the first line not a Misline?

books cancel plays all the time when things are flip flopped.

My point is you never know where the public will take a wager (like this) so there really is no such thing as a Misline, if you see it and bet it it should stand.

I dont think the Boston wagers from last night at minus 135 will be refunded.

i watched the footage of schills work out and he had a lot more velocity than he did in that game 1. whatever brace that reebok specially desgined and you can bet they were some people putting in 16 hours a day over at the design shop, this thing is a technological break through.

i wouldnt be suprised to see schill go 8 innings.

lieber has thrown against the sox very well 2 games straight. i wouldnt be suprised to see this thing as a low scoring game.

having said that I would pound the yanks in game 6. lieber has been masterful

The rumor from the red sox camp is Schilling has more velocity now and can pitch effectively. I'm inclined to believe this.

ya have to be carefull gambling here though cause the Red Sox sure are not going to say, "Schilling is pitching on heart alone and really doesnt have much, but we really don't have anyone else to pitch."

Which may be true.

I agree. The plus money makes a Boston bet worthwhile. I'm on Boston tonight and Yankees in Game 7. Rivera needs a night off.

It would'nt be bad if you had the Yankees at +124 and the Sox at +120

Fish that is great Did you did get all your KErry at +215 and all back at -129??

I was KErry +200 and +205 and back at -128 (Pinny) and the rest at -135.

But Im on boston at -130. Bet it right away, baseball lines never really change that much. I feel like such a fool!! never had such a horrible line in a baseball game in my life, not even close. how did the vegasinsider groups or who ever screw up this much with that first number?

You can't be serious? LOL<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

This reminds me A LOT of the game a few years back, Green Bay vs San Fran in the playoffs, Steve Young had broken ribs and SF didn’t let anyone know and Young went out and was worthless, lost the game and really hurt those ribs worse.

Teams will lie and deceive at all costs to try and get a mental edge.

Re: Ortiz Sploogefest
He lumbers up to the batters box, glares out at the pitcher seemingly in disbelief, as if to say 'why are you here'. Then he digs his feet in, and goes into the crouch. It looks uncomfortable, this big hulk of a man contorted into this awkward seeming crouch. After a pitch, he goes into the by now familiar routine: he moves out of the box and spits in his gloves, claps his hands together, and stands back in. And when he stands back in the 'why are you here' expression that he flashes at the pitcher grows more severe. He sneers with near disgust. And then ... the pitch, yes, that pitch -- it always seems to be the same one, every time -- you know the one, we all know it; middle in, just above the knees. He swings at it, and as his bat comes around for a second Ortiz seems to nearly come out of his back shoe. It wouldn't matter if he did as the ball by now is nearly at the mid-point on its trip several rows deep into the right field stands.
