I wasn't sure if this existed anywhere besdies the Offshore Books, but do any books in Vegas take If-bets on sports wagers?? Do any books out there allow customers to buy points at all?

I was in Barbary Coast in LV this weekend and asked about buying a 1/2 point in the Vikes/Saints game. They said no.

Amazing, Offshore has them beat cold in all categories i think, i mean not being able to buy points for extra juice? Whats the matter with them?!

Anyway, they do have a major advantage though, you win you get paid cold hard cash right then and there.

it is a different world with all the offshores. vegas had a monopoly for so long...now they have competition and whenever that happens, the consumer wins.

I was in Vegas about 4 years ago. Must have been the fall of '00 or '01. Anyway, it was a Thursday night and I decided to place a bet on the ESPN game. I was at the MGM Grand. I couldn't believe it. They didn't even have a money line on the game.
