I really think it is a meaningless stat. There is always a first for something in sports. How Schilling pitches is one of the keys. He pitches like he did most of the season advantage Boston. I injury changes the way he pitches then the pitching advantage probably switches to NY. If NY has the advantage in pitching the rest of the Boston team is going to need tto step up for Boston to win. My thought is Schilling will be strong and the dog is the play.

Remember Jack Morris in the '90 series...Very reminiscent of Schilling don't ya think ? In '91 when Morris was hurting he got lit up 2 x in the series. Schilling shouldn't be on the mound and the cold will make it much worse. Huge advantage to the YANKS and I can assure u I am not a fan of the Bombers.
