You can't tell me they have anyone better than Lowe is going right now...He doesn't look tired...Why use Pedro? Its almost a symbolic move more than anything....and that can't be...

I cannot figure this rationale whatsoever....what is he thinking?

no problem with this at all. you win tonight or go home. the game is not over yet.

red sox came back from way down in game 1 late to threaten big time.

Pedro is the best pitcher available to come in. Bring him in and finish this.

All the red sox will get a few days rest before the world series

I don't see how Pedro can pitch better than Lowe has been doing. Let him get in trouble and then bring in Pedro. But Lowe has given up 1 hit.

Lowe threw 69 pitches and gave up one hit....it will be interesting to hear his reasoning.

He will tell us what he was thinking in the press conference. Maybe Lowe was getting tired and said he only had one inning left after the 6th. As for using Pedro instead of anyone else, who else is there to use? Every one else has been spent. Pedro has the best stuff on the entire staff and Francona want's to take no chances getting into the world series by putting someone in who is dead tired.


BTW:

If you guys are so smart why aren't all of you major league managers.


Francona left Belhorn in the lineup when everyone in the New England area wanted Pokie Reese in there. Francona knows his team a lot better than any poster here.
