A couple of key managing F u k ups led to the Yankees loss. Mind you I'M not taking anything away from Boston here, however these screw ups helped them win easier.

1. Taking that pu$$y Olerud out for the 6"8 old fart Clark

2. Not pinch running Kenny Lofton. Hell he should have started at center field.

3. Letting Rivera pitch after it was obvious he was clearly upset about the deaths in his family.

4. Putting in that former expo Vazquez. Remember where this guy came from?

5. And finally, the most obvious thing that caused the Yankees to lose this season........ The complacency of Joe Torre. This guy has got to be the most cocky manager in the bigs. He was always seen sitting on his fat a$$ watching his team go down the crapper. Hey buddy newsflash for you, having the best players in the league means jack $hit if you can't manage them properly.

I rarely follow bases, being in NH I'm a Sox fan so have been loving these playoffs. Your comment on Torre sitting on his ass, showing zero leadership or emotion couldn't be more true. Always thought it was just me but after this last showing It's clear that he has some issues, whether it's the phattest ego on the planet or something going on behind the scenes that no-one knows about, it makes him look quite petty.

Dude he was not hurt. These cocky players don't even know what hurt is.

He played tonight, and you don't need to run the 100 meter dash when you are playing at first.

dude he was hurt he fouled a ball off his foot in game 4
Julian Tavarez broke two bones in his fielding hand a couple days ago and still pitched tonight.

They need to learn to suck it up.. Hell I am glad Olerud didn't play.

Ok not being rude here..

Please take your emotions out of your f uking comments. A manager is a good one when he can manage 9 mediocre players to the world series. You think Torre is some sort of genious because he took a team with a payroll of over 200 million to the world series a couple of times?

Hell any manager could take a team to the world series with minimal effort if they have almost every star player in the league.

Which team of the final four is not loaded with stars? Does that mean they do not have good managers? Is Francona a good manager? They are loaded with stars as well. Torre is a very good manager. They just didn't have enough arms. They went through a stretch with Mussina, Brown and El Duque hurt and still won over 100 games. I think the best manager in baseball is Ron Gardenhire.
