I know its EARLY...but thoughts on the NE @ Pitt line

By the gametime, the public will be hammering on Pittsburgh due stellar performance by Rookie of the Year. This is a good news with banged up Big Ben and Staley by having the bye week. New England hasn't changed much after the 2002 AFC Championship game at Heinz Field. New England is known for early quick starts but have the tendency to cruise along in 2nd halves this season. I'm taking Pittsburgh with Roethlisberger over fluky Brady.

Really not easy to make a line BEFORE the big upcoming Jets game. Lets say the Jets lay a big loss on the Pats - that would have to play on bettors minds and force the line lower or even maybe to pick-em. On the other hand if the Pats dispatch the Jets by 3 touchdowns many will think them unbeatable and the number will reflect that thinking: say -4.5.

I asked the same question on the rubber forum some days ago about the total of the Vikings at Colts game. I will be VERY SURPRISE see it less than 58 and i believe can be 60+.
