anyway, I think the next big thing in Poker on line sites is reduced Rake. It will happen in some forms. Now places seem to be doing more like Freeroll contests and such but reduced Rake is next.

Now many of you have said that that will just bring better players and might not be much of an advantage.<o></o>

so instead you should have more of a gimmick rake.<o></o>

My suggestion is advertise that 10% of all hands are RAKE FREE . <o></o>

After the hand is over do some random number thing behind the scenes and if the 10% comes up than as you push the chips to the winner you can have a little rake free sign blink. so its visible and apparent to the players, they will in turn like it and spread the word. <o></o>

Its a great way to get attention, it is a bit extra for your players and its random no way to know until the hand is over if the bonus is yours<o></o>

Something like the Match in PinBall. something to hope for.<o></o>

As far as I know nobody does this and I think it might be Big for filling up tables and taking customer from other sites. And therefore would pay for itself<o></o>

Yes... I think lowering the rake would be one way to get a big audience in this very competitive online poker market. The top 4 or so have a stranglehold because they have so many players and games as a result. A reduced rake site would be one of the things that could generate a big audience in my opinion.

By the way... SBR said Pinnacle's going to launch a poker room in November. I'd be willing to lay 50 to 1 that it's going to be a reduced rake poker room.
