Computer help, wrong forum, but...

I'm desperate for an answer. I had AOL, it just locked up on me, I can't get in for almost a week. It's cancelled, I think today, or so. **** AOL.

Is there anyway I can retrieve e-mail addresses of friends, and or favorite websites ?

I apoligize for placing it here, but I want this to be viewed.

Your favorite sites should be in the task bar above the address bar.

as for the AOl stuff, I suggest HOTMAIL. It is free and you don't get locked out

Newton: Thanks, I didn't elaborate enough. I had AOL, switched to Comcast. I'm trying to retrieve info from when I had AOL. I had both for at least a year. I was paying way too much, but let it ride, paid both. I always intended to dump the AOL, but neglected it. I even used the AOL because I was used to it, got my e-mail there, had all my sites book-marked, etc.

Aol just crapped out on me, couldn't even get in at all. That was last straw, I called and said I quit. I can't get back data. Nothing to major just a few e-mail addresses I'd like to re-coup.

I like not getting a lot of the e-mail I was getting. I did have major problems getting straight with Comcast. I don't like change, changes cause problems, sort of like don't move because moving is a ***** !
