Every Saturday morning I meet 10 wise guys in a Diner where we have a private little room (duke the owner) and we go over the entire card for Saturdays and about 5 of us have computers where we monitor line moves until 12:30PM. Any game we come up with at 7-3 we hammer the game at the best number. It is really nice and plus the diner owner has a fukkin spread from 8:00AM until 12:00PM and I eat all fukkin morning. When bright minds are all grouped together you would be surprised at the results. 10 opinions are better than one and it helps when some of the guys know personnel on the teams and are familiar with some playbooks. We are up 7% right now and it is weighted by the amount of money you put up. I am low man on the pole right now but we have guys throwing in 15 Dimes a weekend, I only throw in like 3 or so plus I have my own stuff going so I need extra. Also sometimes a lap dancer comes in and does a litle work for us . The room is kind of smokey and phones ringing like crazy all morning to see who we like and scouts calling in. Yeh it is big time and I would advise all of youto organize in your areas and have these type meetings. They will help your bankroll imensly. Enjoy your day and bang the bookmaker.

Talk to you guys after early post times

I attended one of these so called meetings a couple years ago.

Pretty much a bunch of BS more than anything.

I came away more confused than when I walked in.........and lost about 3 dimes that day personally.

Never again!

JJ,

Can you please share your group's picks with us after you bet them so that some of us can hedge?

Thanks,
Ken

I used to be a key member of one until I started spending much of my time in Reno. I might get back into it if they want me. It has seen better days though, ego causes slow but steady turnover. It was so bad that just to keep the crowd we went to a half-paid crowd, people who just wanted advice. Sad fact is Vegas isn't drawing in as much solid talent anymore. There are certainly newcomers around, but with offshore they aren't out mingling with the community much.

"10 wiseguys"

"smoky room with phones ringing like crazy"

"duke the owner"

"bring in a lap dancer"

--------------------------

What a crock of ****....lol! All these cliches sound like some kind of bad pulp novel from the 50's. you're always on here trying to act like some kind of "insider". get back on your worn-out recliner and eat some more tv dinners.

I understand your frustration Gold, but it is your job to try and teach the new guys all you know. Some students are better than others. We cannot forget where we came from.

Judgy a little story for you today from the meeting

After it the one dancer said "Do you want anything" I said to her, "how much Sugar" she said "$100 for a round turn" I said no because I had no clue what she was talking about.
