As was the case in the NLCS, it will be much of the same in this series. St L won't be used to this knuckler after seeing Roger in the last game. Wind is blowing straight in from center so the knuckler may be dancin a bit.
MG.....just a note that Wakefield has said that his knunckle ball has it's best movement on it when the wind is blowing OUT....throwing into the wind produces the best movement for the knuckle-ball....bol DANO
Joe Morgan says knunckleball goes flat with the wind behind it. Wakes has thrown a lot of hanging knuckleballs so far, but Cards have been just missing it.
Guys, I was hoping someone would mention that knucklers dance more going into the wind. Anyone that has played ball knows that. However, I think it still dances more with the wind than with no wind at all. No worry, easy Boston win.
