I haven't played teasers before, but was checking them out. It says on Pinnacle's website that a tie/win, tie/loss, or tie/tie is considered a push and the bet gets refunded. Am I understanding this correctly? Does that really mean that if you win one and lose one, and it's a loss, but if you tie one and lose one, it's a push? How is that so?

I am sorry for using the "R" word - and NOTHING EL

this is the same with just about all books (not 100% all - but most)

there is NO SUCH THING as a "one-team" teaser. what i mean here is if one part of a 2-team teaser ends in the game being a push, you can no longer have a 2-team teaser since 1 part ended in a push.

because of this - if one part ends in a push - the entire teaser is a push - regardless of how the other one does.

you could actually tease an early and late NFL game - have the early game LOSE - have the late game push - and you would get your money back - NOT lose it.

Wow, that seems incredible to me. You lose, but get your money back. Wow.

You would not believe the uncashed tickets that occur in Vegas because of this rule.

Fish is right. It's goes even past that though. Some of Vegas sports books don't even know the rules themselves. I was at the MGM last weekend and placed a 2 team college teaser. I asked if I tied one does that mean I push on my whole bet. After 15 minutes and them asking and making calls they still weren't sure of their own rules.
