The weather is like early winter. It feels like snow, and there is precip coming in the air.....bottom line it is damp...bone cold........

Cards have not fielded as many ground balls......plus the fact Pujols is a stud at first, but womack yesterday.....games get to St Louis defense might get better

I hear you, i was in the Hospitality industry in Beantown for years(I worked roughly halfway between the baseball park & Emerson college, too bad about that poor student killed-- all those gin mills nearby make their money from college students & game goers...there were always several drunken brawls nightly) through the Buckner mishap. But a great counterbalance was the old Garden with Larry Byrd & co-- those are my all-time best sports moments-- & the only time ever I've rooted for a local team anywhere: another great memory at the Garden was betting Leonard to beat Hagler and watching it there live on cc.
We used to be so spoiled by Celtic success(if McHale had only held on to that FT rebound in Game 5, it would likely have meant one last championship-- up 3-2 with two games left....If that had happened, Buss, seeing how his Lakers couldn't handle the hobbled Celtics, would likely have taken apart & re-built the whole team... how that would've changed the league, ehh?).... that i can't fathom the subsequent disappointments.. I actually stopped following basketball after both Byrd & Magic left-- don't care for the type of players that subsequently followed-- and they showed their class by forcing Magic out. Anyhow, basketball courts & hockey rinks need to be raised in height / lenghthened... today's players are just too big & quick for the current dimensions-- that, and their thug tactics, have killed off much of the art & skill play of both sports.

Best regards.
