IF pedro does not win tomorrow..i think ST.L hammers D Lowe and then wakefield and sends series back to boston up 3-2...a real possibility...and schilling may not be able to go in game 6???..I'll take a shot with ST LOUIE play at +415...this senario seems to play out in classic red sox world series past..I hope not but lots of new englanders already have sox winning all saying ST L has no pitching but some way they won 105 games + 7 in playoffs..I dont count this team out...if they win tomorrow..
You're basicall banking on StLouis winning 4 of the next 5 games......but remember your asking a team to win 4 out of 5 that has now lost 5 out of their last 7 games.........and now they are concievably going against the best pitcher they have faced yet............I will agree Shill is better but thats only with his health
Also even if you think Lowe and Wake are weak look who the cards have to pitch the next 3 games....Suppan,Marquis and Williams are'nt going to scare anyone...........We all know after this last couple weeks of bases that anything can happen but you have to be concerned about the inability of the Cards pitchers to get any strikeouts..........

MAVERICK...must also take into account that the sox line up will lose the dh...Millar or Nixon will be out of the game and Pedro, D Lowe and Wakefield will not strike fear into card pitchers..This tremendously weakens sox line up. Also i see the line for game 3 as Suppan -120???..Pedro was -150 AT yankee stadium vs John Lieber now he is a dog vs Jeff Suppan??...I think this shows the respect for ST L home field and lack of DH for sox...Just making a point to say this series is not over by a long shot...ST L +415???...if sox lose game 3
