Boys Make Fun Of Weight But Why Am Averaging 6.7 A Carry??

In Tackle Football??

I am in the B League and we are 7-2 going into last few weeks. All you boys make fun of my 5-4, 299 or so frame but why am I the starting I-Back for our team?? The league consists of guys that were good HS players and some Div 3 players. Average age in the league is around 47 or so. We have 2 guys on offensive line in the late 60's.

You laugh and i keep piling up the yards and had a classic run from 11 yards out on a draw in which I barreled over two guys, one was 34 or so and the other guy was around 64.

Yeh took a screen 48 yards yesterday for a score, 14-83 also on the ground. I might look fat but have quick feet. Why do I get strong tosses to the weak side??? If I can get someone to film me I will put a link up if possible and you will be amazed how athletic I really am for my weight.

Judgy try to catch me going wide. I can turn the corner on a strong toss right better than anyone in my league and we have 3 guys that played Div 3 ball and are only 29 yrs old and in great shape.

I would say 95% of posters here are very clumsy, maybe smart but clumsy

Coach,I still got the hands,but the legs ain't what they used to be. As a friend of mine said [former Golden Gloves winner] I got the balls,I just ain't got the tools no more.

JJ,

I'm not doubting your yards per carry but just how slanted is that field? And do they take you out when you have to go uphill? Just curious....

GENERAL.....................sir with all due respect, btj is nowhere near the type of poster JJgold is...................JJ is a hands on type poster he has been there done that...............btj sits at home and listens to his wife rant and rave.......do you actually think for a minute JJ would have any of that????

Although, I agree, we are talking to different styles, one is funnier than the other. I choose BTJ in the humor category.

I like em' both ok.
