No he won't cost them. First base is one of the easiest positions to field.

Several balls have been saved by Millar scooping them up...it will be interesting to see Ortiz tested...on the flip side, some ball games the 1st baseman isn't a factor.

Journey: Millar scooping em'...................YOU KIDDING ME OR WHAT. Millar has got to be the absolute worst at attempting to do what he calls fielding. Bottomline.....................He suck's.

As far as Ortiz, dude has nice hands and can play the posistion adequately.

Millar was the human vacuum...If you make a mistake at 1st base its as good as a double....thats with no one on base. Ortiz makes at least one extra base mistake tonight.

If you are Francona his bat hopefully will offset his glove. They have a better chance of winning with him than they do with Millar.

GMON..what are you talking about?

I said Millar saved 4 balls in the first two games, nothing else...point is Boston first baseman have had to make some plays, i never said Millar was good or bad.

Ortiz lowest fielding % of anyone who played 30 games...nice call
