In the words of Chris Farley,

Holy Schnickes!!

I am NOT a sharp baseball handicapper. At all. But, I think the hotness of a team is underrated, it was tonight. Boston now has won 7 straight playoff games in a row. 4 facing elimination. 3 on the road.

The Red Sox are Red Hot!!!

So the +111 is tempting. Then I look this up.

Red Sox batters vs. Marquis 19-63 .302 batting avg .343 on base percentage

Cards vs. D Lowe 9-39 .231 batting avg .225 on base percentage

how the cards OBP vs. Lowe can be lower than the BA is beyond me, maybe a typo, I dont know. 9-39 is a very limited amount, but look at the difference between the the 2 teams have hit the opposing pitcher and the way Boston is playing and tell me how BOS should be +111?

Nope. I already bet my max on Bos +111

the sox are the play again.

teams up 3-0 in the WS are 17-3, and d-lowe had nasty stuff against the yanks. the sox are playing great great baseball, the cards havent even had a lead in the entire series

Rob is absolutely correct. There are series breakers. This was one. Game 4 in NBA Finals another. Teams tend to letdown, knowing their fate is sealed. Suppan baserunning gaffe was the end of the show. The anti sweep bet was today.
