Let me start by saying I am a hugh SOX fan 6-6 280.
The fact is A-ROD is a better all around player, but Manny is a better hitter and clubhouse guy. Everyone loves Manny and A-rod is considered a selfish team killer.
It's my opinion that he is sitting back waiting for his chance to take over the SS postion from Jeter and I think Jeter feels the same way. As Jeter said this is not the same team. ''We are not the Yankees of the past'' Directed at the new selfish players! I'm relieved that the deal fell through with SOX! NOW.

Manny showed alot of class this season, sucking it up after hearing he was put on waivers, nealry traded in a package deal with another superstar for one player...
