:ok: :beavis1: :awesom: :anichamp4 :banger:

There are a lot of old and gray Red Sox fans who had become convinced they would never see this.

This series must be pretty boring for everyone except die hard Red Sox fans and those who have been betting heavy on Boston.

FORTUNATELY I AM BOTH! Die hard and bettin with my heart.

2 more innings to the :anichamp4 and the

They lost it yesterday, or won it, depending on perspective. But, it goes down as the worst performance in 15 years. Tony was on the other side that time. But as far as entertainment for the casual baseball fan, a disaster. For MLB, a huge disaster. For Cards a huge embarrassment. Humiliating showing. Great job Mr. Smith, you deserved the win. Prick or not, I am happy for you, Fish, Journeyman, Wil and all other lifelong suffering Red Sox fans. First time ever in my life I bet the Red Sox to win the World Series, so my wait was not as long. The Cards never led, the entire series. Unreal. :WTF:

In a way I envy you guys. This business has hardened me and made me a fan of nothing but winning. It has been 20 years since I even cared who won, if there was not a wager involved. Guess I will just cash and move on like I always do. But to all you Red Sox fans, my sincere best wishes and a toast, to the most deserving fans in MLB. The curse is history.:coffeetim

As a lifelong Phillies fan, the thing that amazes about the Red Sox streak, is that they have always fielded a very competitive organization, and always been in the mix more years than not, where even my Phillies won a title in 80 culminating their 70's run of playoff appearances, then lost WS in '83 and '93..sandwiched 70% losing seasons the past century.

Finally, the hardware for what has always been one of MLB's proud franchises!

P.S. Ed Wade, you should have fired yourself along with Bowa, as your evaluation skills on pitching buys in the FA market..blow!!!

Baseball Guy, you bet your entire bankroll on one game and call me a tool? As far as winning, I did very well. Manny MVP was a nice payoff.

Anyone can plagiarize a ticket.

I know for a fact that you lost serious cash during this post season. You have been posting the same garbage here for the past 2 weeks about how the Cardinals and Yankees were the plays. If you bet your opinions I know you lost.

Being 50 and a lifelong Cleveland Indians fan, I hope I get to experience a Tribe championship in my lifetime. I'll get over what happened in 1997 when I'm six feet under. It was poetic justice that Renteria made the last out tonight as he got the winning hit against the Tribe in '97.

"I'm speechless 50 years a Red Sox fan."
