I was told that they have been getting killed on teasers and as a result they are making some changes. Effective immediately, the limit is reduced to $500 per teaser. Effective in December, the juice will be changing on 6.5 pt teasers from -105 to -115 and 7 pts teasers from -110 to -125...unless, they tell me, if you make a deposit then that change occurs earlier upon the deposit. Not sure the reason for that.

They told me that they've got people winning 80-90% of teasers where people used to win 10-20%....a bit of an exagerration, but that's what I was told.

I guess, as they say....nothing good lasts forever.

P.S. This is not a complaint post. I have nothing bad to say about ABC. If this is what they needed to do, then that is perfectly fine. I will remain a happy customer.

Stoney from Wagert@lk must have been released from the slammer and found a a bankroll?

Just kidding, as he doesn't tease, but did use to parlay hard there.

Now that ABC is going into the tank for teasers..where to turn

WSEX - 7 pt -120/10 rep solid as they come

Millenuim 7 pt -115/110 rep I havent had a problem with them

PCI. 7 pt ties win -110 rep little is known about these guys. I have never used them and when people ask it's always the same 1 or 2 guys saying how good they are but no one else.

Anyone else? really not interested in laying -130 on 2 team 7 pointers.

I remember Stoney, my old pal from North Carolina. Met him at the Excalibur in Vegas. Ended up being a pretty good guy. I think I brought him a collector's version Tequila, might have been Jose Cuervo. I heard he was on a federal vacation. Small world. Still, he was a bettor!:howdy: Hiya Stoney

So this will be the group, Islands and Jazz? My locals just got buried at NFL this season, until last week. But so many games were landing in the teaser spread, and there were so few upsets. Great thread, everyone posting prices. :coffeetim

I can tell you the books taking teaser bets are making a killing after the first week of the NFL season. Just this past week, the Colts, Giants, Rams, and Seattle lost straight up. And how many people teased Denver on Monday night? Those five teams were on just about everybody's teaser bets. I think ABC Islands are pissed they lowered their limits at the wrong time. Teaser bettors left and lost their money somewhere else. Now ABC Islands has decided that since they lost all that business, they will recoup it by upping their juice.

I don't think Stoney hit anyone too hard. His federal vacation was earned by the way he covered his losses.

Still though a nice guy and very fun to have on a chat board.

ABC just gave me the following info:

If you already have an account there with money in it then all things are the same until Dec 27th. If you have to re-up or on Dec 27th - whichever comes first the new teaser rules kick in. The changes are the max limit goes to $500 instead of $1000 and 6 pt is still -105, 6.5 pt goes to -115 from -107, and 7 pt goes to -125 from -110. Ties are still wins.
