I spoke with ASAP and CRIS today about a possible take over/merger of these sports books...

The main guy at ASAP is meeting with the main guy at CRIS today. According to a reliable source, the deal is likely to go through. All that appears to be holding things up is the dotting of "I"'s and the crossing of "T"s with regards to paperwork.

This is GREAT news for our industry as it looks like one very strong sports book, namely CRIS, is ponying up to bail out ASAP...

I will follow through with further details as soon as they emerge...

Shrink.. you say Bail Out... are they just buying out ASAP or are players (credit and/or post up) owed money to which Cris will now assume the debt?

Good question, but I don't know the definitive answer to it at the present time. I suspect that if CRIS does take over ASAP'S operation, all the debt will be paid as well...
