For me......personally beating the Yankees wouldn't have meant much without a World Series Championship. Years from now not many would have remembered the Red Sox beating the Yankees in 2004 ALCS, but just about every baseball fan years from now will remember what year the Red Sox broke the 86 yr. old curse including Yankee fans. Beating the Yankees in the process was just icing on the cake.
Hey Wil. Houston would have put up a better fight, especially at home. Then again, any fight would have been a better fight.
