This thread sums up the RX nicely. A book that is a considered out by most solely because of their free-half point, doesn't have the decency to announce their half-point plans within five days of the NBA season, but the 'posters' don't seem to care.

I love you skybook!!!! Thanks for dicking me around. You are a must have for the smaller player. If I send 10 dimes can I get 10 free-points? I don't care when you release your plans on the half-point, or even if you do at all. You are my favorite book!!!!:hump:

I called down there, and the manager told me that they are going to offer the free half. When asked why it took so long, he said that they went back and forth as to whether they were going to offer it or not. BTW, Bismark, they give away more coin than any book here at the RX. You really need to take your meds or at least a quaalude, lol. I learned to be resourceful and got off my lazy ass and called them. Perhaps you should do the same.

Just want to clarify that I didn't start this thread to create an altercation between anyone. I just wanted to know if they were going to offer the free half. I do understand Bismark's frustration. However, I agree with the Shrink that books that bend over backwards to give away a lot of stuff here such as Skybook, Hollywood, Royal, etc. should certainly be given the benefit of the doubt. Pinnacle's free half is another HUGE rebate to any player with a brain. All books that bend over to give back to the players should be appreciated and acknowleged. Do they deserve more slack? IMO, the answer is yes. The Hollywood's, Skybooks, Royals, and Pinnacle's can do no wrong with me. Have a nice day, and Good luck to all this weekend! We all need more :money8:

Free 1/2 point is huge, even if they waited to announce it an hour before the first game tips off no halfway serious gambler can refuse, even if they have to beard themselves in to get it. :toothless

In one year playing conservatively we had 18-20 plays where the 1/2 point came in to play, either made a push a win or a loser into a push. This is one of the best values on the planet for the nonwiseguys like me, to complain over it in any fashion is absurd. Thanks Skybook.
